QLD: Man killed in shooting on Gold Coast
BRISBANE, Aug 15 AAP - Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was shot dead
at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast.
The 35-year-old man was killed and a second man was injured in the shooting near a
McDonald's restaurant on the Gold Coast Highway between Christine Ave and Fifth Ave.
Motorists have been warned there will be long delays as traffic is diverted around
scene of the shooting.
Police have not released the name of the man who died.
